As Sylvaneers ramps up for our inaugural summer camp season in July of 2025, there will be a unique opportunity for families to experience the magic and history of Camp Santa Maria in June! Please look through the options below and register for the program or programs that fit best for your family’s schedule and interests.
Open House Days
June 3rd, 4th & 5th and June 12th, 13th & 14th
While Camp Santa Maria is closed to the public, Sylvaneers would like to invite interested families on to the property for a handful of “Open House” days this June to share the incredible history of the property as well as our organization’s vision for this summer and beyond. Included in the registration fee will be a guided tour of the main camp area, games in the field, games in St John’s Hall, light snacks in the dining hall, and crafts in the craft shop. For an additional fee, guests can sign up for a guided hike to The Statue, paint a rock that will be added to the “Santa Maria” sign on the hillside, and for the June 12-14 dates, purchase a pool pass to use the outdoor swimming pool.
- Cost: $15/adult, $5/child (4-17), free for children 3 & under.

- Guided Hike to The Statue: $10/person
- Paint a Rock for the “Santa Maria” sign: $5/rock (included with children’s fee)
- Children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult at all times.
- Pool Pass: $5/person*
- *Only available for the June 12-14 dates
Family Camps
3-Day Family Camp #1: Tuesday, June 17th – Thursday, June 19th
2-Day Family Camp #1: Friday, June 20th – Saturday, June 21st
3-Day Family Camp #2: Tuesday, June 24th – Thursday, June 26th
2-Day Family Camp #2: Friday, June 27th – Saturday, June 28th
Family Camp will be an amazing opportunity for families to get a taste of summer camp together! All meals and activities will be included in the fee. The days will be filled with exciting outdoor activities, while the evenings will be spent around the campfire (provided there is no fire ban in place). This will be perfect for families looking for time together in Colorado’s beautiful outdoors, for Santa Maria alumni looking to reconnect with the property, and especially for families with children nearing camp age who would like to get a feel for the place and people before committing to a summer camp session.
Accommodations
Each Family Camp session will have three different options for accommodations:
*Children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult at all times. Children 3 and under may attend with their families free of charge.
1: Shared Cabinside ($120/Adult – $60/Child (4+) for 3-Day programs)
($85/Adult – $50/Child (4+) for 2-Day programs)
The cabinside may be shared with another family or two, so please reach out if there is a specific group you’d like to share with. Each cabinside contains 7 bunk beds.
2: Tent Camping ($85/Adult – $50/Child(4+) for 3-Day programs)
($75/Adult – $35/Child(4+) for 2-Day programs)
Bring along your tent and set up camp for your family! Santa Maria will have some designated camping areas for those who would rather sleep in the great outdoors! Note: Vehicles are not allowed outside of the designated parking areas, so be prepared to carry your camping gear to the designated tent camping area.
3: Day Only ($55/Adult – $25/Child (4+) per day)
Each day Family Camp is operating, it will also available as a “Day Only” option, which includes two meals and all of the activities offered that day. If you live nearby, or would prefer to book accommodations at one of the many cabins located within 10 minutes of Santa Maria, this may be the option for you!
Family Camp Activities
Arts & crafts, hiking, gaga gall, dodgeball, basketball, archery, swimming in the outdoor pool, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, SUPing, fishing, exploring Gnome Village, songs and s’mores around the campfire!
